Dollar Tree is coming soon to downtown Fort Saskatchewan.

The sign went up this week at the Market Square shopping centre on 99 Avenue, and workers have been busy at the former Giant Tiger/Safeway location for several weeks.

Dollar Tree officials say they hope to have the Fort Saskatchewan store open some time in November.

Dollar Tree is a discount department store chain offering party goods, toys, books, festive decor, housewares, pet supplies, hardware, electronics, food and candy.
