School break-in suspect arrested
An arrest has been made in connection with two break-ins to a local school.
Fort Saskatchewan RCMP announced Friday that they arrested a local man Wednesday, Sept. 13.
Billy Joe Parlee, age 40, of Fort Saskatchewan, has been charged with break and enter and identity fraud, and remains in custody.
RCMP say some $15,000 worth of computer equipment and accessories were stolen from a local school on 97 Avenue over two nights — Thursday, Aug. 31 and Monday, Sept. 4.
Fort High is located on 97 Avenue.
Police believe the thefts were carried out by the same two people on both nights.
