Coats for Kids campaign begins
Drop off unwanted winter clothing to the annual Coats for Kids & Families campaign at most City of Fort Saskatchewan facilities this season.
The United Way campaign helps thousands of families stay warm each winter. The campaign collects toques, mittens, scarves, snow pants, winter boots and insulated workwear and boots. All should be new or gently used.
This program makes sure those facing financial hardship or homelessness have the warmth they need, say organizers. Your donations help kids enjoy the outdoors, empower adults to work confidently, and provide essential warmth to newcomers adjusting to our winters.
Drop off items by Dec. 20 at City Hall, the Library, Harbour Pool and the Dow Centennial Centre.
