Comedy night to brighten dark days
Comedy night to brighten dark days
Cheer up January with an evening of comedy. The Blue Monday Comedy Special returns to Fort Saskatchewan Monday, January 20.
Tickets this year are just $10 per person and likely to sell out quickly for an evening of fun featuring our own Sean Lecomber as host. All proceeds from the event go to support mental health programming in Fort Saskatchewan.
Sterling Scott headlines the evening with material on his relationships, family, fatherhood, current events and the awkward, relatable moments we all face.
They will be joined by Kelly Taylor, Jules Balluffi and Art Bellrose .
The event attempts to lighten the bleak, cold, dark, post-holiday season. Organized by Family and Community Support Services, it takes place annually on the third Monday of January, often called Blue Monday.
“This event is about more than just laughs,” says Amber Grant, Diversity, Inclusion, and Community Development Coordinator at FCSS. “It’s an opportunity to bring people together during a time when many of us could use an extra boost of joy, helping us recharge, connect, and share a laugh with others.”
