Learn about plans for 99 Avenue
Residents along 99 Avenue east of Highway 15 get their chance to review changes proposed under Fort Saskatchewan's new Land Use Bylaw.
Drop-in engagement sessions are set next week for the area being dubbed the Downtown Gateway District. This covers homes along the south side of 99 Avenue through the downtown, including the old mall site and former hospital site.
The new Land Use Bylaw generally calls for more housing density, including duplex, townhouse and even apartment development in some older areas.
Drop in to the sessions on Monday March 24 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Friday, March 28, from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. Both sessions will be held at the Lions Mane Room in the Dow Centennial Centre.
No registration is required. Just drop in.
